Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel, who appears on behalf of the State respondents.
This writ petition has been filed with the following main prayer :-
"1) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding upon the opposite party no. 3 to pay compensation/financial assistance of Rs. 5,00,000.00/to the petitioner under the "Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojna" on account of death of i.e. Late Girdhari Lal Prajapati, along with interest @ 14% from the date of death of deceased i.e. 01-09-2020 till actual payment."
Learned Standing Counsel, on the basis of instructions sent by the District Magistrate, Pratapgarh dated 04-07-2024, says that the application for compensation of the petitioner has been rejected on 04-05-2022. Copy the Minutes of the Meeting dated 04-05-2022, has been enclosed alongwith the said instructions. A copy of the instructions that have been produced before this court, shall be given by the learned Standing Counsel to the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner today itself.
The writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh petition.
