Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel.

The writ petition is filed with the following prayers:

"(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing respondent authorities to conduct re-open meeting for allotment of fair price shop in Gram Sabha Gauri, Block Ahiraula, Tehsil Budhanpur, District Azamgarh, through its Village Pradhan;

(ii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent authority to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner dated 20.11.2024 (Annexure-5 to this writ petition);

(iii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the authority concerned to conduct the fair proceeding for allotment of fair price shop in the Village & Post-Gauri, Block Ahiraula, Tehsil Budhanpur, District Azamgarh."

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has filed objection to the proposal for allotment of fair price shop which is pending before the respondent no. 3, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil Budhanpur, District Azamgarh. The aforesaid proposal till date has not been decided.

Learned Standing Counsel submits that the objection of the petitioner shall be decided by the respondent no. 3, expeditiously.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no. 3, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil Budhanpur, District Azamgarh to consider and decide the objection of the petitioner, in accordance with law, expeditiously within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
