This writ petition has been filed with the following prayers:-
"(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 04.02.2004 passed by respondent no.2, enclosed as Annexure 2 to the writ petition;
(ii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite parties to make payment of political pension to the petitioner ;
(iii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite parties to make arrears of political pension to the petitioner for the period of 17.01.2018 to August, 2021 with interest."
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents prays for and is allowed six weeks time to file counter affidavit.
