- The petitioners have filed the instant petition to seek protection against a threat to their lives and property from private respondent no. 4.
- At the outset, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel seeks and is granted a week's time to verify the contentions raised in the writ petition.
- Put up this case as fresh on 17.12.2024.
- Meanwhile, if the petitioners apprehend any threat to their life and property, they may approach the respondent no. 2 to seek protection. After a fresh evaluation of the threat assessment, the respondent no. 2 shall accordingly take adequate measures.
