The petition is of the year 1984 and listed under the head that the cases shall not be adjourned. None appears for either of the parties except the learned Standing Counsel for the State.
The record indicates that in compliance of the order dated 14.01.2014 and 19.02.2015 as well as 07.09.2015 notices were issued and as per report dated 11.04.2023 private respondents no.2 to 4 had died and the private respondent no.5 was not found living at the given address.
The record further indicates that a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court on 06.12.2023 had issued a card notice to the legal heirs of the private respondents and as per office report dated 03.01.2024 since no legal heirs of the private respondents are on record, hence the notice could not be issued.
From the aforesaid, it is clear that the respondents no.2 to 4 had already died and there is no application for substitution. Moreover, there is none on behalf of the petitioner to press the petition. It is accordingly dismissed for want of prosecution. Consigned to record.
