- By means of this petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following main relief(s):
" (i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 18.04.2024 passed by opposite party No. 5, contained as Annexure No. 1 to the writ petition.
(ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite parties to consider the case of the petitioner for compassionate appointment on the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector Confidential under the provisions of Dying-in-Harness Rules, 1974 & Rule-5(1) of Uttar Pradesh Recruitment of Dependants of Government Servants Dying-in- Harness (Thirteenth Amendment) Rules, 2022 within specific time framed by this Hon'ble Court.
