Heard Sri Ripu Daman Shahi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Jogendra Nath Verma, learned Standing Counsel for the opposite parties.

By means of this petition the petitioner has prayed following relief :

" i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing and commanding the opposite parties to include the name of the petitioner in the list of eligible candidates for NEET PG 2024.

ii. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the opposite parties to declare order dated 16.01.2024 (Annexure no. 1) and order dated 18.03.2024 (Annexure no. 2) as well as order dated 05.09.2024 (Annexure no.3 ) as non est for the purposes of sending the name of the petitioner for counselling for the Post-Graduate Degree Course (M.D./M.S./D.N.B.) which is scheduled in the next phase."

Sri Verma has shown instruction letter dated 18.9.2024 provided by the Director General, Medical & Health Services addressing to the Director General, Medical Education & Training whereby the name of the petitioner has been sent for counseling as his name finds place at serial no. 16 in the list of 33 candidates, same are taken on record.

Now Sri Shahi has confined his prayer making request that the Director General, Medical & Health Services, U.P. may be directed to consider and decide the representation dated 28.8.2024 (Annexure no. 8).

Without entering into the merits of the issue, the Director General, Medical & Health Services, U.P. is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 28.8.2024 (Annexure no. 8) strictly in accordance with law by a speaking and reasoned order expeditiously preferably within a period of

one week from the receipt of certified copy of the order of this Court.

The decision on the representation shall be communicated to the petitioner forthwith.

Writ petition is finally disposed of .
