Heard learned counsel for petitioner, learned State Counsel for opposite parties no.1 & 5 and Mr. Pradeep Tiwari, learned counsel for opposite parties no.2, 3 & 4.

Petition has been filed seeking a direction to concerned authority for grant of selection grade to petitioner for the post of Assistant Teacher in the Primary School concerned since petitioner became entitled for such benefit upon completion of 10 years of satisfactory service in August 2023.

For the aforesaid grievance, petitioner has already submitted a representation but seeks liberty to file fresh representation before concerned authority. At present learned counsel for petitioner restricts his prayer for a final decision with regard to same.

Considering innocuous prayer being made by learned counsel for petitioner and without entering into the merits of the case petitioner is granted liberty to file a fresh representation before opposite party No.2 i.e. District Basic Education Officer, Lucknow. In case such a representation is filed, the same shall be considered and decided within a period of eight weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the said authority.

With the aforesaid observation, petition stands disposed of .
