On written instructions received from the respondents, Mr. Indrajeet Shukla, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of all the respondents states that respondent No. 1, Dinesh Kumar Balmiki, has been reinstated in service at the end of the disciplinary proceedings, imposing upon him the punishment of recovery of loss etc. caused. Again, the learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel has brought to the Court's notice a copy of an order dated 20.01.2024 passed by the District Panchayat Raj Adhikari, Hardoi, reinstating the second petitioner, Atul Kumar, in service after awarding him punishment of withholding one increment with cumulative effect.
Since both the petitioners have been reinstated in service, this writ petition, which is directed against the orders of suspension from service dated 12.04.2023 and 19.07.2023 relating to both the petitioners is rendered infructuous.
This petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous .
