Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri B.P. Singh, learned counsel for the opposite party nos. 2 and 3 and Sri Raghvendra Pratap Singh, learned Standing Counsel for the State.

Contention of the counsel for the petitioner is that in the second set of the enquiry proceeding, the enquiry report has been submitted before the disciplinary authority on 16.11.2023 but no decision has been taken yet. He added that the interest of justice would sub-serve, if this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to direct the disciplinary authority, i.e., opposite party no. 3 to conclude the enquiry proceeding, within a stipulated period of time as may be fixed by this Court.

The counsel for the opposite parties have no objection.

In view of the above and without entering into the merits of the case, the opposite party no. 3 is directed to conclude the enquiry proceeding against the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before it.

It is expected that the petitioner shall cooperate with the disciplinary authority.

It is further clarified that so far as the prayer no. 2 is concerned, that may also be considered by the opposite party no. 3, after final decision is taken on disciplinary proceedings.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant petition is disposed off .
