Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State.
The present writ petition has been preferred for issuing direction to the respondent no. 3 to immediately relieve the petitioner from his current post of posting i.e. Women and Child Security Organization/ Women Power Line 109 Lucknow to join at Lucknow Range in pursuance of the transfer order dated 06.11.2023.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has already made a representation dated 15.01.2024 to the respondent on. 3 but till date the petitioner has not been relieved. It is further submitted that the transfer order is still in existence and it has not been withdrawn.
After arguing at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his prayer to the extent that the representation of the petitioner dated 15.01.2024 may be considered and decided by respondent no. 3 i.e. Additional Director General of Police, Women Power Line/Women and Child Security Organization, U.P. Lucknow, within a stipulated time frame, as this Court may deem fit and proper.
Learned Standing Counsel has no objection to the aforesaid prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner.
On the request of learned counsel for the petitioner and without entering into the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 3 i.e. Additional Director General of Police, Women Power Line/Women and Child Security Organization, U.P. Lucknow to take a decision on the representation of the petitioner dated 15.01.2024 in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of production/receipt of certified copy of this order.
