The petitioner's case is, the petitioner was initially appointed on the post of Nalkoop Mistri on 3.4.1992 in Nalkoop KhandII, Sitapur. Thereafter, in the year 2004, the petitioner was promoted to the post of Junior Engineer after qualifying the departmental examination. Subsequently, on 29.6.2016, the petitioner was promoted to the post of Assistant Engineer. While working as Junior Engineer, in the light of the Government Order dated 31.5.2011, the petitioner's Grade Pay was fixed as Rs.4800/-, but without assigning any reason and calling upon any explanation from the petitioner, his Grade Pay was refixed as Rs.4600/-. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner moved a representation dated 26.9.2023, which has not been considered and decided by the department till date. The petitioner further contends that the petitioner's retirement is due on 31.10.2024, therefore, seeks expeditious disposal of the representation enable him to avail the legal remedies, if any, would available to him.

In view of the foregoing discussions, the department is directed to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner dated 26.9.2023 within a period of four weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant petition stands disposed of.
