The petitioner's case is that, on 1.11.1997, he was appointed as Daily Wager Group-D/Class-IV in the Divisional Forest Office, Dudhwa Tiger Reserve, and he has made a representation in the department for grant of minimum pay scale of Rs.18,000/- as per 7th Pay Commission along with arrears since March, 2018 in terms of the judgment dated 17.11.2018 passed by this Court in Writ-A No.11964 of 2018 titled as Mohan Swaroop and another v. State of U.P. and others.

Seeking the aforesaid pay scale, the petitioner has preferred a representation dated 26.12.2023 made as Annexure-3 to the writ petition before the respondent no.2, and the same is pending since then. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has preferred the instant writ petition.

In view of the foregoing discussions, the respondent no.2The Divisional Forest Officer, Dudhwa Tiger Reserve is directed to consider and decide the representation made by the petitioner dated 26.12.2023, within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition is disposed off.
