Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:-

"i. Issue an order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 and 3 to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 09.05.2024 for her family pension."

It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner the husband of the petitioner had unfortunately died on 30.12.2017, but till date, the petitioner has not been paid family pension. The matter has been represented before respondents no.2 and 3 on 09.05.2024, but till date the same has remained unattended.

As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, or calling for counter affidavit, the matter is being disposed of, at the admission stage, with a direction upon respondent no.2- Secretary, Madhyamik Shiksha (Secondary Education) Prayagraj to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner dated 09.05.2024, strictly in accordance with law by reasoned and speaking order, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of certified

copy of this order.

With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of.

It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
