1. Heard Sri Prabhat Narayan Srivastava, learned counsel for petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel for respondents.

1. By means of present writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the order of suspension dated 05.10.2024 passed by S.D.M., Gonda thereby placing the petitioner under suspension on the direction of the District Magistrate, Gonda which was communicated to the competent authority by means of letter dated 05.10.2024.

1. The allegation which has been narrated is with regard to mutation of the land belonging to one Pindi Ram s/o Paltan who had died and the petitioner in his capacity as Lekhpal has submitted a spot inspection report indicating that the deceased is survived by his daughter-in-law and two sons.

1. It seems that on the basis of spot inspection report submitted by the petitioner necessary mutation entries were made by the concerned Tehsildar. The only ground stated is that the petitioner had ignored the proceedings pending before the Tehsildar (Judicial) wherein another person has claiemd his right on the disputed land on the basis of a will.
