- Short counter affidavit duly served upon learned counsel for the Union of India in the court today, is permitted to be filed within two days in the Registry, to which a rejoinder affidavit, if any, may be filed by the petitioners within two weeks.
- In the circumstances of the case and looking to the pendency of a bunch of identical matters before this court, we are convinced that delay in filing the present writ petition deserves to be condoned. It is hereby condoned.
- Connect and list along with Writ-A No.9365 of 2023 in the week commencing 09.12.2024 peremptorily.
- The benefit of interim protection granted in the aforesaid writ petition shall be available in the present case in equal terms.
