Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned State Counsel appearing for opposite parties 1, 2 and 4 and Mr. Ran Vijay Singh, learned counsel for opposite party no.3.

With consent of learned counsels for the parties, the writ petition is being decided finally.

Instant writ petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus commanding opposite party no.1 to consider, rectify and re-visit the provision made in Clause-12 of Government Order dated 02.06.2023 which provides for weightage marks under different heads.

Learned counsel for the petitioners after arguing at some length submits that with regard to the relief sought in the writ petition, the petitioners may be permitted to submit a fresh representation before opposite party no.3 which may be directed to be decided within a time frame fixed by this Court to which learned counsels for opposite parties have no objection.

In view of the above, it is provided that in case the petitioners submit a representation within two weeks from today before opposite party no.3 then he shall make all endevours to decide the same by means of a reasoned and speaking order expeditiously.

With aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.

It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the case.
