1. Learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Anupama Singh, learned Standing Counsel for State-respondents are present.

2. Perused the enquiry report wherein it has been found that work has been given by the Gram Pradhan to his brother's firm, however, it has been stated that this has been done prior to issuance of Government Order dated 21.03.2022.

3. Contention of the petitioner's counsel is that even after this Government Order certain vouchers are available, photocopies of which has been annexed with the petition. Even otherwise we fail to understand as to how the said Government Order dated 21.03.2022 would lead to a conclusion that prior to its issuance such work orders could have been given to the firm of the Gram Pradhan's brother.

4. Matter requires consideration.

5. Let the District Magistrate, Gonda look into the matter and file its own affidavit after getting a proper enquiry conducted in

the light of fresh documents submitted with the writ petition, of

course, in accordance with law.

6. List in the third week of July, 2024.

7. Ms. Anupama Singh shall communicate this order to District

Magistrate, Gonda for strict compliance.
