This petition in the nature of public interest litigation has been filed seeking to allege that the land comprised of Gata No.577 (Old No.1061) is fraudulently registered in the name of Khushiram and Shriram S/o Dayal.

Further submissions have been made that the said land is that of pond and is sought to be transferred by those in whose names the same is wrongly registered.

A perusal of the record indicates that raising the said complaint, a representation dated 14.03.2024 has been sent by registered post and the present petition has been filed on 09.04.2024. Except the said representation as made by the petitioner and filing the petition within three weeks of sending the representation by post, nothing has been placed on record to indicate any public interest involved in the matter.

In fact, for the reliefs claimed, the petitioner has remedy under the provisions of Section 67 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006.

In view thereof, no case for entertaining the present petition in purported public interest is made out. The same is, therefore, dismissed, leaving it open to the petitioner to take appropriate proceedings in accordance with law.
