Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Matrimonial dispute between the petitioner and respondent no.4 has given rise to an FIR No.0045 of 2021, under Sections 498-A, 313, 323, 342, 377, 504, 506 IPC and 3/4 D.P.Act, Police Station Mahila Thana, District Lucknow.

Both the parties on the previous date had agreed that they are ready to subscribe to the mediation proceedings before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court for amicable settlement of the matrimonial dispute.

The petitioner in compliance of the previous understanding has brought a bank draft of Rs.60,000/- bearing no.081175 payable in favour of respondent no.4 namely Pragati Maurya. The same is given to Sri Manu Dixit, learned counsel who is appearing on behalf of respondent no.4 and he undertakes that he will file vakalatnama on behalf of respondent no.4 in the registry.

Both the parties shall appear before Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court on 18.10.2024.

It is made clear that the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court shall make an earnest effort to settle the matrimonial dispute at the earliest and submit its report within a period of three months.

List immediately thereafter alongwith the mediation report.

Till the next date of listing, the proceedings in furtherance of the impugned FIR under Sections 498-A, 313, 323, 342, 377, 504, 506 IPC and 3/4 D.P.Act, Police Station Mahila Thana, District Lucknow shall remain in abeyance.

The name of Sri Manu Dixit, shall be shown as counsel for the respondent no.4 in the cause list when the case is listed next.
