They tried to steal in the market but could not succeed. While on his way to theft, they were caught by a shop keeper. Bihari Lal is still in Barabanki with his car. On the basis of the aforesaid statements, in search of Bihari Lal and his car the police party i.e. S. I. Jai Ram Sharma,, Head Constable Ranjeet Singh, Constable Shitla Prasad, S.I. Ram Kumar Dueby and Constable Tej Pratap Singh went to Palhari Crossing. At around 16.30 hours, Indigo Car No. RJ 01-1C 1999 was seen arriving at Palhari Crossing. When he was stopped after honking, the driver started his car with some hesitation. When asked about the car owner's name and address, he told his name as Bihari Tal and when asked about the reason for going to Barabanki, he did not give any satisfactory answer, due to which when he was asked to reach. Rs 1058/- cash was found from the pocket of the pants and watch. When the trunk of the car was opened and searched, three sacks of poppy seeds were recovered from inside. He told that we come to Barabanki on the pretext of going to Ayodhya and after burying these poppy seeds , we sell them at good prices. When all the sacks were weighed, it was found that it was seven and a half kgs in plastic sack and in another plastic sack six and a half kgs. Samples were sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory and the case was registered and investigated.
