The instant review application has been filed praying for review of the judgment & order dated 18.04.2024 to the effect that respondent No.1 be directed to consider the petitioner's claim for promotion with all consequential benefits from the date persons similarly situated or persons junior to the petitioner have been promoted as Sugarcane Inspector-cum-Assistant Sugarcane Commissioner.
A perusal of the judgment of this Court dated 18.04.2024 would indicate that the Court had required the respondents to convene a Review Departmental Promotion Committee for consideration of the claim of the petitioner along with others and thereafter, suitable orders have to be passed by the State on the basis of the recommendation of the Commission.
The consequences of Review DPC being held are obvious and requires no elaboration by this Court.
Considering the aforesaid facts, no case for review of the judgment & order dated 18.04.2024 is made out. Accordingly, the review application is dismissed.
