Heard learned counsel for petitioner as well as learned Additional Government Advocate for State.

Notice to respondent No.2 is dispensed with in view of the proposed order.

The present 483 Cr.P.C. petition has been filed for a direction to the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-1, District Sultanpur to decide/conclude Criminal Case No. 4004/2018 "State Vs. Lal Bahadur and others" arising out of case crime No. 329/2018, under Section 3/7 of EC Act, P.S. Kadipur, District Sultanpur.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the aforesaid criminal case number is pending since 2018 and till date even charges have not been framed. He also submits that the trial is going on at a very slow pace. It is prayed that the complaint may be expedited.

Learned AGA has no objection to this innocuous prayer.

In view of the submission(s) made on behalf of the petitioner and perusal of the record, so also in the interest of justice, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the trial court to expedite the trial preferably within a period of two years from the date of production of certified copy of the order. The charges shall also be framed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order.
