Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned AGA for the State.
The present application under section 483 Cr.P.C. has been filed with the prayer to direct the Sessions Judge, Meerut to expeditiously decide the Session Trial No. 119 of 2023 (State of U.P. Vs Imran and another) arising out of Case Crime No. 421 of 2022, under section 307 IPC, P.S. Lisari Gate, District Meerut, pending in the court of Sessions Judge, Meerut, within stipulated period.
At the very outset, learned AGA for the State has raised an objection that no application u/s 483 Cr.P.C. is maintainable seeking the aforesaid relief, accordingly, the present application should be dismissed. However, learned counsel for the applicant may seek appropriate remedy as provided under the law.
Accordingly, the present application is dismissed with aforesaid liberty.
Certified copy of the order, if any, will be returned back to the counsel for the applicant after retaining the photocopy of the same.
