Heard learned counsel for the applicants as well as the learned AGA for the State and perused the record.

The present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the applicants with a prayer to quash entire proceedings of Criminal Misc. Case No. 9231 of 2024, arising out of Charge Sheet No. 109(01) of 2023 dated 20.06.2023 in pursuance of Case Crime No.61 of 2023 under Section 498A, 323 IPC & Section 3/4 of D.P.Act, P.S.-Mahila Thana, District-Bahraich as well as summoning order dated 10.05.2024 passed by the Additional Civil Judge (J.D.), Newly Constructed, Bahraich.

Learned counsel for the parties jointly stated before this Court that the matter can be resolved by way of amicable settlement and there is possibility of the same. To resolve the dispute between the applicants and opposite party No.2-Smt. Reeta Gupta @ Babli, the matter be sent to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court.

It is, therefore, provided that the matter be placed before Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court on 24.07.2024 . The applicant No.1-Mukesh Gupta shall deposit an amount to the tune of Rs. 15,000/- before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court on or before 24.07.2024, which shall be released in favour of the opposite party No.2-Smt. Reeta Gupta @ Babli, forthwith.

List/put up this case before this Court after completion of mediation on 02.09.2024 alongwith report in this regard.

Till the next date of listing, the proceedings in issue against the applicants shall be kept in abeyance.

In case, the amount aforesaid is not deposited by the applicant within the specified time, the interim protection granted by this Court shall not be available to applicant.
