Heard Shri Lavkush Yadav, learned Counsel for the applicants, Shri Ashok Kumar Singh, learned A.G.A-I for the Stateopposite party No.1 and perused the material placed on record.

The present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed on behalf of the applicants seeking quashing of the entire proceeding of Complaint Case No.76 of 2022; Mahendra Tripathi vs. Raghavendra Shukla & Others, under Section 500 I.P.C., Police Station-Kotwali Ayodhya, DistrictAyodhya/Faizabad, pending before learned Judicial Magistrate Second, District-Ayodhya/Faizabad so far it relates to the applicants and the impugned summoning order dated 17.07.2023 issued by learned Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division) Second/Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, DistrictAyodhya/Faizabad in Complaint Case No.76 of 2022; Mahendra Tripathi vs. Raghavendra Shukla & Others.

Learned Counsel for the applicants submits that the applicants are innocent persons and have falsely been implicated in the present case due to enmity. He further submits that the opposite party No.2 was authorized to collect news items as District Reporter, District-Ayodhya for the news channela namely News 1 India and on 22.11.2018, the news channel appointed the applicant No.2 as Senior Correspondent for Ayodhya Division and the authorities were not satisfied with the work of the opposite party No.2, hence, they did not extend the arrangement with the opposite party No.2 after 21.10.2022 due to this reason, the opposite party No.2 started having enmity with the applicants because he thought the applicants have got him separated from the news channel. He further submits that the opposite party No.2 filed a criminal complaint against his old rivals and made the applicants also accused in the same complaint without any rhyme or reason. Thereafter, learned trial court directed to register the case and fixed the date on 16.04.2022 for recording the statement of the complainant under Section 200 Cr.P.C. but the opposite party No.2
