Heard learned counsel for applicant and learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for opposite party no.1 State.

In view of order being passed, notices to opposite party no.2 stand dispensed with.

Application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking expeditious disposal of Case No.170 of 2023 (Urooj Fatma versus Sahbaaj Khan) instituted by applicant under Section 125 Cr.P.C.

It is submitted that in application under Section 125 Cr.P.C. notices were issued initially on 18.03.2023 but has adverted to the certified copy of order-sheet to indicate that service report is still not on record. It is submitted that not only the aforesaid proceedings are pending but even interim maintenance has not been granted to applicant.

In view of submissions advanced by learned counsel for applicant and upon perusal of certified copy of order-sheet, it appears that the notice was issued on 18.03.2023 but thereafter the service report does not appear to be on record.

In such circumstances, the court concerned being Principal Judge, Family Court, Gazipur is directed to ensure office report regarding service upon defendant is placed on record and for decision on the application under Section 125 Cr.P.C. expeditiously without granting undue adjournment to either party. It is also directed that the Court concerned may consider grant of interim maintenance to the applicant on the next date fixed in case the applicant is able to make out a case for same.

With aforesaid direction, the application stands disposed of .
