Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned AGA for the State.

By present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C., the applicant has sought for a suitable direction to the Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Firozabad to expedite the proceedings and to decide the Case no. 279/2022, under Section 125(3) Cr.P.C., P.S. Rasoolpur, District Firozabad within time stipulated by this Court, which is pending before the aforesaid court.

It was submitted by learned counsel for the applicants that the Family Court has awarded maintenance in favour of the applicant vide order dated 09.03.2022 and after that applicant has initiated aforesaid proceedings under Section 125(3) Cr.P.C in the year 2022 but no substantial progress has been made so far. Learned counsel further submits that a direction may be issued to the concerned court to decide the aforesaid case within specific time frame.

In view of aforesaid, the Family court concerned is directed to expedite the proceedings of the aforesaid case and to conclude the same as early as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of production of copy of this order before the court concerned, provided there is no legal impediment.

The application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is disposed of accordingly.
