Heard Sri Abhishek Giri, learned counsel for the applicant, Sri Karunakar Singh, learned A.G.A. and perused material on record.
The present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the applicant with a prayer to issue a direction to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Gorakhpur to decide the Case No. 483 of 2022 (Apoorva Dwivedi vs. Prateek Sharma), under Section 125 Cr.P.C, P.S. Bheeta, District Gorakhpur within stipulated period.
Considering the fact that the Case is pending since 2022, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed of with a direction to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Gorakhpur to decide the aforesaid Case in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months after production of certified copy of the order, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, if there is no other legal impediment.
