Heard learned counsel for the applicants and learned A.G.A. for the State.

This application u/s 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed for quashing of the entire proceedings, including charge-sheet dated 28.03.2023 and cognizance/summoning order dated 03.07.2023, of case no. 6222 of 2023, arising out of case crime no. 07 of 2023, under Sections 498A, 323, 504, 506 IPC and Section 3/4 of D.P. Act, P.S. Kotwali Dehat, District Bulandshahar, pending in the court of C.J.M., Bulandshahar.

After arguing at some length, learned counsel for the applicants submits that he is not pressing the prayer for quashing of proceedings and that matter relates to matrimonial dispute between the parties and there is possibility of settlement and hence, the matter may be referred for mediation before the District Legal Services Authority/Mediation Center of the concerned district court.

In view of aforesaid, it is directed that in case applicants move an application before the trial court concerned for referring the matter to mediation before the District Legal Service Authority/Mediation Centre of the district court concerned, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be considered

and decided expeditiously in accordance with law.

It is further directed that for a period of two weeks from today and in case matter is referred to the mediation by the trial court concerned, till the conclusion of the proceedings of mediation, no coercive action shall be taken against the applicants in the aforesaid case.

The application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is finally disposed of in above terms.
