Heard Sri Laxmi Narayan Rathour, learned counsel for the applicants and Sri Anish Kumar Upadhyay, learned AGA for the State.

The instant application has been filed seeking quashing of the entire proceeding of Compliant Case No. 2497 of 2013 (Fatma @ Munni vs. Gulam Muhammad and others) under Sections 498-A, 323 IPC and 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, P.S. Kotwali Orai, District Jalaun.

Learned counsel for the applicants submits that the instant proceedings are arising out of matrimonial dispute between the applicant no.3 and opposite party no.3, which has been amicably settled between the parties during the pendency of the said complaint case lodged by the opposite party no.2. In view of the aforesaid compromise, learned counsel for the applicants seeks quashing of the entire proceeding of the instant complaint case.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, parties are directed to appear before the Trial Court concerned within two weeks from today and to get the compromise dated 25.6.2024 verified before the Trial Court and the Trial Court after recording its satisfaction that such compromise between the parties has been arrived at out of their free will without any coercion or undue influence, shall verify the said compromise and send its report to this Court within two weeks thereafter.

Put up this case on 25.11.2024 in the additional cause list.

Till the next date of listing, no coercive steps shall be taken against the applicants in pursuance of Compliant Case No. 2497 of 2013 (Fatma @ Munni vs. Gulam Muhammad and others) under Sections 498-A, 323 IPC and 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, P.S.

The applicants are also directed to place on record the certified copy of the order verifying the compromise by the the next date of listing.
