Heard Sri Shashank Ojha, learned counsel for the applicant, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record.

By means of the present application under Section - 482 Cr.P.C., the applicant has sought for a suitable direction to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Mau, District - Mau to expedite the proceedings and to decide the Case No. 1010 of 2022 (Annu Maurya Vs. Susheel Kumar Maurya), under Section - 125 Cr.P.C., Police Station - Mubarakpur, District - Mau within time stipulated by this Court, which is pending before the aforesaid court.

It is submitted by learned counsel for applicant that applicant has filed the aforesaid case under Section - 125 Cr.P.C. in the year 2022 but no substantial progress has been made so far and that she is facing financial hardship and thus, a direction may be issued to the concerned court to decide the aforesaid case within specific time frame.

As per report dated 13.11.2024 sent by the learned Additional Principal Judge, Family Court No.1, Mau, the case is fixed for 13.12.2024 for disposal of application of interim maintenance.

In view of aforesaid, the family court concerned is directed to expedite the proceedings of the aforesaid case and to decide the same as early as possible, preferably within a period of nine months from the date of production of copy of this order before the court concerned, provided there is no legal impediment.

The application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is disposed of accordingly.
