Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record.

The present application has been filed praying inter alia the following relief:

"WHEREFORE, it is most humbly prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to quash the impugned order dated 14.05.2024, passed by learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lakhimpur - Kheri in Criminal Case No. 11717 of 2023 "State Versus Bhog Nath Pushker and others" and further proceedings of the case in pursuance thereof, vide Case Crime No. 218 of 2023, under Section 147, 148, 323, 324, 308, 506 I.P.C., Police Station Kotwali Sadar, District Kheri, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lakhimpur Kheri and discharge the applicants, in the ends of justice."

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant No. 1 and the informant are real brothers and they are advocates. He further submitted that there is possibility of amicable settlement between the parties.

Accordingly, Issue notice to opposite party No. 2, returnable at an early date. Steps be taken within a week.

List this case on 12 March, 2025.

Till the next date of hearing, the appearance of the applicants in the impugned proceedings is exempted.
