Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. Notice on behalf of the State-respondents has been accepted by the office of the learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel.

By means of the instant petition, the petitioner prays for expeditious disposal of his claim petition bearing No. 1856 of 2020 (Mohit Dixit Vs. State of U.P. and Others) pending before the respondent no. 2.

It is urged that on 04.01.2023 the counter affidavit as well as the rejoinder affidavit were exchanged in between the parties and the matter was posted for final hearing on 1.03.2023 and since then 6 to 7 dates have been fixed yet the matter has not been finally heard and decided.

Learned standing counsel submits that he has no objection in case if an expedite order is passed.

Considering the facts and circumstances and also noticing that the matter is already fixed for final hearing, accordingly, ends of justice can be served by directing the respondent No.2 to consider and finally decide the pending proceedings of case bearing No. 1856 of 2020 (Mohit Dixit Vs. State of U.P. and Others) as expeditiously as possible, affording full opportunity of hearing to the parties, but without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.

It is made clear that the Court has not examined the case of either of the parties on merits and the Tribunal concerned shall decide the matter strictly in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid, the petition is disposed of .
