Heard learned counsel for petitioners and learned State Counsel appearing on behalf of opposite parties.

Petition has been filed seeking quashing of the advertisement dated 06.02.2023 for purposes of recruitment as Block Resource Persons (BRPs). Further prayer for a direction to opposite parties to continue to allot to take work from petitioners on the aforesaid post on which they have been initially working on contractual basis have also been sought.

Mr. Ran Vijay Singh, learned State counsel however submits that from the pleadings made in petition itself, it is evident that in pursuance of the aforesaid advertisement, selection has already concluded and select list dated 27.06.2023 has been notified in which petitioners' names is clearly evident at Serial No.1 in the waiting list. It is therefore submitted that petition itself has been rendered infructuous particularly since petitioners contract has already ended by efflux of time on 31.03.2023 itself.

It is quite evident from pleadings that the aforesaid advertisement has already reached its final logical conclusion by issuance of select list dated 27.06.2023 which however has not been challenged by petitioner. In view of aforesaid, particularly the fact that petitioners' contract has already ended by efflux of time, the petition having been rendered infructuous is dismissed as such.
