Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the opposite parties and perused the record.
The instant petition has been filed for following reliefs:-
"(i) Issue writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the Opposite Party No. 4 to pay arrears of salary to the petitioner for the period of 01.09.1994 to 31.03.2021, in lieu of order/letter dated 03.02.2024 issued by the Divisional Assitant Education Director Basic VIth Div, Lucknow.
(ii) Issue writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the Opposite Party No.4 to pay admissible interest the petitioner.
(iii) Issue any other remedy or relief as deemed fit and proper under the circumstances of the case to this Hon'ble Court.
(iv) Allow the petition with cost in favour of the petitioner."
The innocuous prayer of counsel for the petitioner is that interest of justice would be sub-served, if this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to direct the respondent no. 4 to decide the representation of the petitioner, within stipulated period of time as may be fixed by this Court.
In view of the above and without entering into the merit of the case, the opposite party no. 4 is directed to decide the representation of the petitioner, within period of eight weeks, from the date, certified copy of this order produced before him.
With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition is disposed of.
