Heard Sri Kaushal Kishore, the learned counsel for the applicants, Sri Abhishek Singh, the learned AGA for the State, Sri Nishant Srivastava, the learned counsel for the opposite party no. 2 and perused the record.

By means of the instant application filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., the applicants have sought quashing of the impugned charge sheet dated 23.10.2021, impugned cognizance order dated 04.09.2022 as well as the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No. 527 of 2022, arising out of Case Crime No. 217 of 2021, under Sections 452/ 323/ 504/ 506 IPC, Police Station Sampurna Nagar, District Kheri, pending in the Court of IIIrd Additional Judicial Magistrate, Lakhimpur Kheri.

The matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court by means of an order dated 13.01.2023. The Mediation Centre has submitted a report dated 27.03.2023 stating that the parties have arrived at a settlement agreement. Copy of the settlement agreement forwarded to this Court with the report of the Mediation Centre mentions that the parties have resolved their disputes and the complainant has withdrawn his complaint and they have agreed for decision of this application in terms of the compromise.

Accordingly, the application is allowed and the proceedings of the impugned charge sheet dated 23.10.2021, impugned cognizance order dated 04.09.2022 as well as the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No. 527 of 2022, arising out of Case Crime No. 217 of 2021, under Sections 452/ 323/ 504/ 506 IPC, Police Station Sampurna Nagar, District Kheri, pending in the Court of IIIrd Additional Judicial Magistrate, Lakhimpur Kheri, are quashed.

A copy of the settlement agreement dated 27.03.2023 shall form a part of of this order.
