Heard Sri Rajendra Prasad Shukla, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents and Sri Manish Mishra, learned counsel for respondent no. 5.

By means of the present petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India a prayer has been made for expeditious disposal of Claim Petition No. 1055 of 2022 (Shri Prakash Singh Vs. State of U.P. and Others) pending before the U.P. State Public Service Tribunal, Lucknow.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that grievance of the petitioner would be sufficiently met in case the U.P. State Public Service Tribunal, Lucknow, considers and decides the aforesaid claim petition in the time bound manner.

In this regard, it is noteworthy, that no ground for urgency is made out by the petitioner so as to call for interference by this Court under Article 227 of the Constitution of India. Hence, the prayer is rejected.

However, liberty is given to the petitioner to move appropriate application detailing urgency for expeditiously disposal of the claim petition before the tribunal. In case, such application is moved within two weeks from today the U.P. State Public Service Tribunal shall consider and decide the same expeditiously, say, within three weeks thereafter. In case, the Tribunal is prima facie satisfied that a case for urgency is made out it shall pass suitable orders thereon and proceed accordingly in accordance with law.

With aforesaid observation and direction the petition stands disposed of .
