The present petition has been filed challenging the suspension order dated 4.1.2024 passed by the Director, Raj Krishi Utpadan Mandi Parishad instituting a departmental inquiry against the petitioner and putting him under suspension during the inquiry.
The departmental inquiry has been contemplated on the ground that the supply of wheat to the Parishad in the financial year 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 was unbelievably low which prima facie indicated collusion between the petitioner and the traders.
There is no jurisdictional error in the order dated 4.1.2024 passed by the Director, Raj Krishi Utpadan Mandi Parishad.
The averments made in the petition do not establish any malafide in putting the petitioner under suspension which has been passed in contemplation of departmental inquiry.
In view of the aforesaid, the challenge to the order dated 4.1.2024 putting the petitioner under suspension is rejected.
However, considering the circumstances of the case , it is directed that the inquiry instituted against the petitioner shall be completed within a period of four months from today provided the petitioner cooperates in the departmental inquiry.
With the aforesaid directions, the petition is disposed of.
