The present petition has been filed with the following prayer:
"to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No.2 to consider and decide the application contained on Application File No.33616A186E523 and to grant the Fire Arm license to the petitioner in compliance and appropriate pursuance of the G.O. dated 20.10.2018 as well as Government Order dated 23.06.2020 No.3/2020/G.I.-187/6-Police-5-2020-1(12)/2015 as expeditiously as possible preferably within the time to be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court."
Considering the fact that the application of the petitioner for grant of fire arms incense is to be decided by the respondent no.2, the present petition is disposed off directing the respondent no.2 to decide the application of the petitioner in accordance with law with all expedition preferably within a period of two months from the date a copy of this order is produced before him.
