Heard Sri Sunil Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners are major and the High School certificate of petitioner no.1 is annexed as Annexure no.1 to the writ petition and the Aadhar card of petitioner no.2 is annexed as Annexure no.2 to the writ petition. He submits that the petitioners have solemnized the marriage on 20.2.2023 and has applied for registration of the aforesaid marriage on the same day.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the respondents are creating hindrance in the peaceful living of the petitioners and the petitioners have threat perception to their life and liberty.

Learned Standing Counsel submits that the petitioners may approach the Commissioner of Police, Prayagraj for redressal of their grievance.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions of learned counsel for the parties, this writ petition is disposed of directing the petitioners to approach the respondent no.2-Police Commissioner, Commissionerate, Prayagraj by making a representation within a period of 15 days from today. In case any such representation is filed by the petitioners, the same shall be dealt with in accordance with law and the petitioners' life and liberty shall be protected. The respondent no.2 is expected to provide all assistance for peaceful living of the petitioners.
