Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned standing counsel representing the State respondents and perused the record.

The instant writ petition has been filed, interalia, for the following relief:-

"(i) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus direct the respondent no. 2 to decide Case No. 2369 of 2022 Computerized Case No. T202205310402369 (Shivbhola Vs. Lalji & others) under Section 24 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 pending before the Sub Divisional Officer, Tehsil Compiraganj, District Gorakhpur within a stipulated of period of time."

It is submitted that the case is pending for consideration since the date of its filing dated 21.1.2022. It is further submitted that only general dates are being fixed as has been stated in paragraph 7 of the writ petition.

Learned Standing Counsel has no objection in case a direction is issued for expeditious disposal of the revision within the stipulated period as directed by this Court.

In this conspectus, as above, no useful purpose would be served to keep this matter pending, therefore, this Court deems it appropriate to finally dispose of the present writ petition, without making any observation on the merits of the case as mentioned in the present writ petition, with a direction to Sub Divisional Officer, Tehsil Compiraganj, District Gorakhpur (respondent No. 2), before whom the aforementioned matter is pending disposal, to decide the same as expeditiously, as possible from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.

It is expected that it should be decided by a reasoned and speaking order, in accordance with law, after affording opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.

With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition is disposed of.
