Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

In pith and substance, the petitioner is asking that her representation dated 24.11.2022 addressed to the Special Secretary Home (Police), Section V, U.P. Government, Lucknow for issuing gun license shop as filed by the petitioner, may be decided expeditiously.

Learned Standing Counsel very fairly submits that in case any such representation is pending, the same would be decided by the concerned authority.

In view of the above, without entering into the merit of the case, the writ petition, on consent, stands disposed of directing the second respondent, Special Secretary Home (Police), Section V, U.P. Government, Lucknow, to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner by a reasoned and speaking order in the light of Government Order dated 24.11.2022 expeditiously, preferably, within three weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
