Sri Pradeep Kumar Singh, Advocate who is petitioner appears in person to argue the case.

Petitioner is before this Court for a direction in the nature of mandamus directing and commanding the respondent No. 2 to provide the benefit of "Mukhya Mantri Krishak Durghatana Bima Yozna" for the death of brother of petitioner caused due to snake bite forthwith in terms of Government Order dated 08.07.2021 as well as Clause 11 (ya) of Government Order dated 28.02.2020.

Petitioner states that on account of awaiting of viscera report, his claim has not been considered by the authority concerned.

Sri Durga Singh, learned Standing Counsel fairly states that in case the matter is seized before the competent authority, then definitely the same would be examined in the light of aforesaid Government Order and accordingly, the petitioner shall be reprieved.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, no useful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending and with the consent of the parties, the writ petition is disposed of finally with direction to the second respondent i.e. District Magistrate, Chitrakoot to decide the claim of the petitioner strictly in accordance with law within two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.

With these observations, the writ petition stands disposed of .
