By means of the present writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent nos. 2 and 3 to decide the representations dated 07.12.2022 and 24.02.2023 and further, directing the respondent authorities to provide the possession over the Flat No. 09 Block- Y (Asra Yojna), Gandhi Nagar, TehsilSadar, District- Maharajganj.
It transpires from the record that on 29.12.2019, the petitioner applied for residential flat under the Asra Yojna wherein the State Government provide a residential flat to the poor and helpless person. After getting the allotment letter, the petitioner tried to get possession over the aforesaid flat but till date, the possession over Flat No. 09 Block- Y (Asra Yojna), Gandhi Nagar, Tehsil- Sadar, District- Maharajganj has not been provided to the petitioner.
In pith and substance, the petitioner is asking that her representations dated 07.12.2022 and 24.02.2023 addressed to the respondent nos. 2 and 3 for redressal of her grievance may be decided expeditiously.
Considering the facts and circumstances, we are not inclined to keep the matter pending consideration.
In view of the above, without entering into the merit of the case, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the third respondent, District Magistrate, District- Maharajganj to consider and decide the representations of the petitioner by passing a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably, within three weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
