Heard Ms. Asha Parihar, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents, Ms. Vibha Srivastava, Advocate holding brief of Sri Avinash Chandra Srivastava, learned counsel for the respondent no.7 and perused the record.

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for expeditious disposal of Revision No.259 of 2005 (Jagdish Vs. Atar Singh and others) pending before the Additional Commissioner, Agra Division, Agra/respondent no.2.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner had preferred a revision in the year 2005 under Section 333 of U.P.Z.A. & L.R. Act against the order dated 4.1.2005 passed by the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Etamadpur, District Agra in Case No.2/01-02. It is further submitted that respondents had put in appearance before the revisional court but only general dates have been fixed and the revision is still pending since 2005.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and without commenting on the merits of the case, the Additional Commissioner, Agra Division, Agra is directed to decide the aforementioned case expeditiously in accordance with law after affording reasonable opportunities of hearing to the parties concerned, preferably within a period of four months from the date of production of certified copy of this order, without granting undue adjournments to either of the parties, unless there is any legal impediment.

With the aforesaid directions, the petition is disposed of.
