Heard Shri Ram Sharan Giri, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present writ petition is for issuance of an appropriate direction to the respondent No. 4, Tehsildar, Tehsil and District Hamirpur to decide the application dated 27.4.2023 with regard to mutation proceeding within the stipulated period of time.
It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has filed application dated 27.4.2023 with regard to mutation proceeding, but the same has not been decided till date.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that the application dated 27.4.2023 filed by the petitioner shall be decided by respondent No. 4, Tehsildar, Tehsil and District Hamirpur within the stipulated time fixed by this Court, in accordance with law.
Considering the innocuous prayer made by the petitioner for expeditious disposal of the application dated 27.4.2023 with regard to mutation proceedings, the writ petition is disposed of by requiring the respondent No. 4, respondent No. 4, Tehsildar, Tehsil and District Hamirpur seized with the application dated 27.4.2023 to consider and decide the same expeditiously without giving any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties within a period of one month from the date of service of certified copy of this order, strictly in accordance with law.
