Heard Sri Jahangir Haider holding brief of Sri Vijay Pratap Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Deepak Kaushik learned counsel for respondent nos. 3 & 4.
This writ petition has been filed praying for a direction to respondent no. 2 i.e., District Magistrate, Baghpat, to provide protection to the petitioner and her family members who are being forced to work as bonded labour in the brick kiln of respondent nos. 3 & 4.
Learned counsel for respondent nos. 3 & 4 states that the respondent nos. 3 and 4 has neither kept the petitioner and her family members and relatives as bonded labour nor shall keep them in their brick kiln i.e., brick klin of respondent nos. 3 & 4.
Learned Standing Counsel states that the respondent no. 2 shall ensure that the petitioner and her family members are not harassed by the respondent nos. 3 and 4.
In view of the aforesaid, we dispose of this writ petition with liberty to the petitioner that in the event the respondent nos. 3 & 4 deviates from their statement as given by their counsel before this Court as noted above or they causes any harassment to the petitioner or her family members then the petitioner may submit her representation before the respondent no. 2 alongwith a certified copy of this order who shall take all necessary actions and in the event any action is required to be taken by another authority, such authority shall be communicated this order of the Court who shall also take appropriate action in accordance with law.
