Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.
This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayers:
"(A) A writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 25.08.2011 passed by opposite party no. 1 as contained in Annexure No. 2 and order dated 17.07.2012, 25.08.2011 passed by opposite party no. 2 as contained in Annexure No. 1 to the writ petition.
(B) A writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite party no. 1 to allow election petition and set aside election of opposite party no. 4 as elected Pradhan of Gram Panchayat Mohammad Pur Kasba, Post Tirka Baihari Block Maya Bazar, Tehsil and District Faizabad."
Considering the fact that the tenure of the election, which was under challenge, has come to an end, as such, the writ petition is rendered infructuous.
The writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
