- The present Government Appeal under Section 378 Cr.P.C. has been filed against the judgement and order dated 7.7.1984 passed by the VIth Additional District and Sessions Judge, Bareilly in Special Case No.5 of 1981, thereby the learned trial court has convicted the accused-respondent for the offenec under Section 161 IPC and Section 5(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act.

- Learned AGA by filing counter affidavit has brought on record the death certificate of accused-respondent Lakhpat Rai on 20.1.2019.

- In view of the aforesaid, the appeal gets abated.
